A leading turnkey automation house in Pretoria is looking for a dedicated and proactive Technical Sales Engineer

General Project Sales and Consulting but not limited to :

• Managing and interpreting customer requirements
• Consulting on technical quotations
• Compiling and processing of technical quotations
• Working alongside a business development representative to consult on technical projects
• Assist in negotiating and closing sales
• Offering after sales support on technical needs on completed projects
• Administering client accounts
• Analysing costs and sales
• Preparing cost analysis on projects
• Assisting Business Development in achieving sales target
• Keeping up to date with industry trends in Automation Engineering
• Compiling and presenting of technical presentations and demonstrations
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product knowledge on leads and quotes

• Site installation support and supervision when necessary

• Degree/ Diploma or equivalent in mechanical /mechatronic engineering or 10+ years experience in technical trade
• 2+ years’ of experience in related role as Technical Sales Engineer
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Strong Technical Knowledge on Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment and multitask
• Keen eye for technical details
