Senior Maintenance Technician – Government Job Vacancies in Cape Town

We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician in our dynamic department.

• Service and maintenance of all the machines and equipment
• Install, dismantle, maintain, repair, reassemble, and moves machinery in the factory
• Hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC’s ,servo drive’s and  electrical systems
• Coordinating the completion of complex repairs
• Determine which techniques and tools to use when repairing or modification plant machines or equipment
• Conduct planned maintenance of plant, equipment and facilities
• Attend to unplanned maintenance of plant and equipment
• Provide guidance and oversee troubleshooting of equipment issues

Key Performance Areas :

• Maintenance, repairs and overhauling of the production lines and equipment
• Attend to mechanical and electrical breakdowns and repairs
• Have experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
• Specializing in fault finding

• Matric / Qualified Artisan (M5 / 6), NQF 5
• Certificate -Hydraulic Maintenance, Basic Pneumatics
• A driver’s licence is a requirement
• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advantage would be relevant experience in the blowing or injection machine industry
• Applicant you must be dynamic and a self-motivated person
