Duties & Responsibilities

ROLE:

Functional and technical enhancement on the Demand and Consumption solution
Maintenance and functional enhancement of the Demand and Consumption solution
Support for functional refinement of requirements for the Sub Product Owner
Problem analysis and bug fixing of the Demand and Consumption solution (for the GROUP plants)
Process design in for Picking and Line Supply (eWM)
Customizing of the defined processes
Developer support for implementation new enhancements (User stories)
Testing in Demand and Consumption (manual as well as automated, CBTA or Tosca)

Desired Experience & Qualification

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

South African citizens/residents are preferred.
Applicants with valid work permits will also be considered.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Management or a related field or similar qualification.
8 years’ experience developing in ABAP Development
5 years’ experience developing in SAP logistics (MM, SD)
5 years’ experience logistics consulting (SD or PP)
10 years’ experience in SAP

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

At least 8 years’ experience in ABAP Development (Backend, Frontend)
At least 5 years’ experience in ABAP Development logistics
At least 5 years’ experience in logistics (Modules SD or PP) from a functional perspective / customizing (customizing and specification for enhancements)
At least 5 years operations experience in logistics
Expert knowledge in integration technology (Idoc, Odata)
In depth technical understanding of SAP (e.g., Solution manager)

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

S/4 technical knowledge
ABAP Objects
Agile working experience
