Multinational pharmaceutical company has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager in the Western Cape.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee Sales Reps and manage the territory for Cape Town northern and southern territories
Matric essential
Tertiary qualification is an advantage
Minimum of 2 – 3 years sales management experience, leading and directing teams
Manage allocated sales budget through effective co-ordination of sales activities and behaviours, key accounts, key opinion Leaders and expense budget within the region.
Responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, new business development, customer base expansion, opportunity management, proposal generation, presentations and closing business according to territory plans. Must demonstrate excellent account and territory management skills in order to meet/exceed sales goals.
Responsible for managing 12 – 15 Sales Representatives and for providing consistent and uniform direction regarding execution of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Develop and implement strategies for target achievement.
Implementation & management of sales strategies in alignment  with sales team 
Maximize productivity and sales effectiveness within region by executing sales and marketing plans and promotional activities
Develop and grow business for the responsible brands in all Therapeutic Clusters and to build relationship with HCP and pharmacies in line with the company objectives
Ensure the team has the necessary tools, and the data required to support the execution of their duties. 
Lead and direct sales team to ensure optimal performance levels are reached.
Forecast accuracy, monthly sales vs budget to be achieved.
Build, maintain and grow customer relationships across the Region
Strong working knowledge of different data sources, technical knowledge of project management, data analysis and business intelligence
Financial modelling interpretation
Vast experience on managing sales representatives
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current marketing legislation
Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification 
Previous sales and management experience required 
Must have a proven track record of coaching and leading team/s

Package & Remuneration

R Monthly plus Basic salary, car allowance, petrol, medical aid, pension, quarterly commissions
