Introduction
To implement and maintain HR strategies and processes in area of responsibility. To support and advise Line in accordance with HR Policies and Procedures. To maintain systems; records and reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruitment, screen and processing of appointments for new staff.
- Ensures all termination documentation is completed and processed.
- HR Administration.
- Administrate and co-ordinate training and schedule of all Learners
- Administrate all changes to the organisation structure on the HR Information System.
- Assist with and administrate the Employment Equity process.
- Administrate disciplinary administration including receiving & capturing of warnings and arranging of hearings.
- Administrate and schedule incapacity consultations.
- Compile ad-hoc and weekly HR reports required by the HR Manager.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of the HR Information Systems.
- Assist with general/ad-hoc duties as required from time to time.
- Workforce management and planning of staff leave and relief rosters
- Assist HRM with adhoc tasks
- Excellent planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Confidentiality, tact and discretion essential when dealing with people.
- Ability to multi-task and manage demanding workload in a pressurised environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Excellent problem solving skills coupled with the ability to think dynamically.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Able to deal effectively with all levels of staff including senior management
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Must have a National HR Degree / equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources of which at least 3 years in an industrial relations specialist
- Previous experience working in a large Medical Practice advantageous
- Previous experience with Conciliations and Arbitrations at the CCMA or Bargaining Councils
- Demonstrate Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet)
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable vehicle
