Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the Retirement Services and business processes, be responsible for each country’s deliverables and efficiencies and represent NBC when interfacing with stakeholders internally and externally

 

  • Country structures, functions and resource allocations
  • Represent NBC at client meetings
  • Compliance to fund rules, legislation, policies, etc.
  • Retention, talent management and succession planning in terms of staffing
  • Process management
  • Management of productivity and quality
  • Liaison with legislative authorities
  • Generate an operational plan for each country that supports and is aligned to the organisation’s objectives as well as Executive strategic plan
  • Compile budgets and forecasts, control expenditure
  • Generate new business/grow each country based on set objectives

 

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

 

  • A degree/diploma (relevant to the Retirement Funds Industry) or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification including successful pass of RE5 Examinations
  • Minimum 5 -10 years in financial services, management experience at Senior level, managing multiple business units
