Government Vacancies -Oracle Cloud Engineer – Remote-Government jobs in Cape Town

We require an Oracle Cloud Engineer to work for a contract role in Cape Town. 

• Managing Oracle cloud services that span storage, security, networking and compute cloud capabilities:
• Designing, implementing and managing cloud-based systems for the WCG. 
• Developing a deep understanding of each service across the full IT lifecycle, and taking requests for infrastructure services, applications and environments. 
• Managing the optimal performance and scale, as  well as the provision, sizing, monitoring and adjustment, of Oracle resources.
• Provisioning and operation of the environment using PowerShell, the Command Line Interface, Oracle Portal, operating systems, virtualisation, cloud infrastructure, storage structures and networking. 

• One or more tertiary qualification(s) issued by a registered tertiary institution that is/are relevant to the role of the Oracle Cloud Engineer; OR
• One or more industry accredited course credential(s) that is/are relevant to the role of the Oracle Cloud Engineer. 
• A minimum  of 3 (three) years’ experience in an Oracle Cloud Engineer or equivalent role working or consulting on tasks or projects requiring at least one of the following experiences:
• 1) Implementing and managing Oracle cloud Solutions; or
• 2) Building applications and solutions with at least one of the following:
•  – Oracle CRM Development and solutioning experience;
•  – Oracle Service Cloud Implementation;
•  – Oracle Policy Automation Certific a tion;
•  – Oracle Integration Cloud;
•  – Oracle Marketing Cloud Eloqua implementation;
•  – Oracle Field Service Cloud; 
•  – Oracle Mobile hub or Visual Builder Cloud Service.
