Introduction
Our client, a leading environmental management company, based in Pretoria is looking for a Key Account Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will have 3 – 5 year’s sales experience within the fire industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Proficiently develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities in assigned geographic or vertical market
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Supply clients with quotations and do follow ups on quotations already submitted
- Develop strong relationships with new customers
- Source clients and distributors and assist them to promote
- Cold calling
- Managing existing end users and distributor portfolio
- Meet sales targets / submit sales reports weekly
- Maintain and service clients with quotations, site visits and help closing deals
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
- 3 – 5 years sales experience within the fire industry
- Proven sales record
- Ability to work under pressure
- Presentation skills
- Preferably have a mining / automotive / infrastructure / manufacturing / military or construction background
- Valid driver’s license
