Job Title: Conveyancing Secretary

Area/Travel: Sandton

Qualification:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • Legal Secretarial / Conveyancing Diploma
  • Strong computer literacy and experience in Microsoft Office and LexisNexis products
  • Excellent typing skills, speed and accuracy

 

Min requirements:

  • Immediate starters!
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ sound home loans (specifically FNB and Nedbank) and commercial bonds experience
  • Experience in in Standard Bank and ABSA is advantageous
  • Contacting Auditors in respect of company certificates
  • Collection of all FICA documents relating to the client/s
  • Collection of company documentation – checking borrowing powers of companies where relevant
  • Correspondence, communication, and arrangements with all internal and external parties
  • to the transaction
  • Using SearchWorks to attend to property, company, and individual searches, tracking lodge documents in the deeds office and requesting documents (SG diagrams, Ante Nuptial Contracts, Title Deeds and Mortgage Bonds)
  • Setting up appointments for clients to sign bond documents within the appropriate turn around time
  • Regularly updating the Conveyancer on all matters
  • Weekly client reporting
  • Uploading all FICA and signed bank documents onto the relevant vendor packages, with little or no rejection
