Purpose of Job

Work alongside the CCO of PLP and PLP Teams on identifying global opportunities for inbound customer care in English and French for delivery from our centres in South Africa, Johannesburg or Cape Town, or Mauritius or Namibia.

Duties & Responsibilities

New Opportunity Identification

  • Review the DG Market tender platform / or any other international opportunities for PLP to provide inbound call centre services
  • High level identification parameters:
    • Service type: Inbound call centre services
      • including all inbound channels (i.e. calls, emails, webchat, app responses, social media etc.
      • operational/people solution, not a technical solution
    • Languages: English or French
    • Location: service can be offshored (i.e. delivery from our facilities in South Africa, Namibia or Mauritius)
  • An average of 5 hours a week to be allocated to this assignment.


Administration and reporting


  • Set up and/or maintain MS Teams / Google Drive collaboration as central repository of all opportunity and project documentation.
  • Design internal and external reporting formats for listing and tracking opportunities.
  • Report formally on performance, activities and achievement of business objectives on a weekly and / or monthly basis.
  • To present weekly / monthly invoices to PLP  for processing of weekly fees and any success commissions earned.
  • Address all and any administrative requirements, including but not limited to, progress reporting and ensure compliance on PLP internal systems.

  • Administrative ability including planning, filing and reporting as per Company expectations and policies.


Essential Requirements

  • Valid Work permit if foreigner, i.e. ability to work in South Africa
  • Suitable computer equipment and internet connectivity
