Duties & Responsibilities

Community Growth Management Company (RF) Limited, a Collective Investment Schemes licence holder company is in search of a qualified and experienced Business Development Manager.

Supporting the Managing Director, the key performance areas of the position include, but are not limited to:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build relationships to bring on new business and gain traction across an even wider range of funds and managing onboarding process.
  • Focussing on medium sized pension funds as well as larger funds.
  • Creating marketing content and drive the brand awareness in the market.
  • Establishing strong relationships within South African institutional clients (Pension Funds and Investment Consultant).
  • Identifying and researching new business opportunities.
  • Take responsibility of take-on of new investment mandates, restructured mandates and the disinvestment process.
  • Drive retention and servicing of business clients.
  • Develop and keep up to date information of the pipeline and potential business.
  • Strive to improve client engagement and actively tracking processes within the target market.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • degree finance or equivalent.
  • Regulatory Exam (RE 5) required, RE1 preferred.
  • 5 years relevant client facing financial services experience.
  • Relationship management Networking skills, relationship management and presentation skills.
  • Background in a small or medium Asset Management firm/Boutique firm (Preferred).
  • Keen interest in technology and an extrovert who is energised by people.
  • Client-facing, comfortable with both cold calling and frequent client meetings.
  • Strong presentation skills and highly driven to achieve sales targets.
  • A good understanding of the South African investment market (products / regulation).

Package & Remuneration

R 800 000 CTC
