BI Developer – Government Job Vacancies in Rondebosch

A new post has been made for a BI Developer to develop and maintain BI interfaces for our client.

1. Setup and configure new Reports using Client specifications.

2. Test working of new and existing Reports.

3. Analyse Data in database regarding Report Specifications.

4. Query database using SQL.

5. Investigate Data issues in Database pertaining to Reports.

6. Migrating Sybase Database to MS SQL Database.

7. Analyse existing archive procedures.

8. Assist DBAs when required.

9. Write and implement new archive procedures into other Databases for reporting purposes.

10. Documentation for Configuration of Collectors.

11. Assistance on setting up some legacy applications for the Company on new desktops.

Education

Degree or Diploma in Information Systems or Computer Science

Completion of a Microsoft Database qualification

Experience

• Extensive use of Standard Query Language (SQL).

• 2 years SQL Database Programming in a highly pressurized environment .

• SSIS, SSRS and Analysis Services experience.

• Programming knowledge, Project Management, Resource Management, Network Knowledge, OS Admin knowledge advantageous.
