Our client, an upmarket boutique hotel in central Johannesburg, is looking to employ an Assistant General Manager/Duty Manager for their operation. This position is open to all suitably qualified candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities
Rostering of staff
Stock control and ordering of stock
Working with housekeeping checking rooms/ maintenance issues
Check in and check out of guests
Able to work shifts
Overseeing the restaurant and kitchen staff
Daily checking of hotel areas i.e. public areas, gym
Organizing any maintenance issues to be fixed accordingly
Deputising to the General Manager in his absence
Desired Experience & Qualification
Tertiary qualification in hospitality advantageous
Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in Front Office Management/Rooms Division Management in 4 -5-star units
Good computer literacy with Semper NightsBridge advantageous
Package & Remuneration
Salary is R18 000 CTC per month, negotiable on experience.
